Mrs. Kathy Gottschall – Began her ministry at WSCS as a teacher in the 1993/94 school year. She accepted the position of Principal in 1995. She currently teaches the high school’s French elective.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Mrs. Pat Marr – Began her ministry as teacher and head of the Pre-school program in the 2003/2004 school year. She not only teaches these little ones, but she also mothers them for three hours a day.

 

Mrs. Shelia Aber – Began her ministry to the Kindergarten students of WSCS in the 1978-1979 school year, but then moved out of state. She returned to us to stay in 1991. Mrs. Aber is adored by her students and their parents. She gives her little Kindergarten scholars a great start scholastically and teaches them to love learning.

 

Ms. Ashley Frazier- Began her ministry with her first grade students in 2010. She is a graduate of Baptist Bible College.  She is excited to create an enthusiastic learning experience for her happy little scholars.

 

Mrs. Kim Hile – Currently teaches 2nd grade, and she is the Senior Class Advisor.  Mrs. Hile previously has taught 1st and 3rd grade, as well as elementary art, at WSCS.  Her son, Brent, is a WSCS alumnus.

 

Mrs. Brenda Campbell- Began her teaching ministry for the third grade Walnut Street Christian School in 2010.  She graduated from Cedarville.  She previously taught at Memorial Baptist Christian School and homeschooled her children.  Her sweet, calming spirit and the love she shows her students results in a thriving classroom of successful learners. Her children, Lyle and Leah, are students at WSCS. Along with teaching third grade, she also teaches 4th grade Bible and the high school’s chorus elective.

 

Mrs. Sandy Patalive – Began her ministry to the elementary students in 2002. She teaches fourth grade, 5th & 6th grade science, assists with the high school chorus elective, and she teaches Physical Education to all of the elementary students.   Her sons, Z. Adam and  Jacob, are WSCS alumni.

 

Mrs. Angelyn Trumbull – Began her ministry at Walnut Street Christian School in the 2004/2005 school year. Mrs. Trumbull teaches the fifth and sixth grade classes, and 4th grade history.  We love her cheerfulness and enthusiasm.  Her daughter, Joy, is a student of WSCS.

 

Mrs. Marci Beyer – Currently teaches 5th grade language and math, 3rd grade Bible, and the high school’s sign language elective.  She is also a substitute teacher at WSCS.  Her son, Zachary, is a student at WSCS.

 

Mr. Tim Longnecker – Began his ministry at WSCS in 1976 and helped get WSCS off to a great start. Mr. Longnecker is the homeroom teacher for 7th and 8th grades.  He teaches high school language/grammar, Literature/poetry, Bible, Spanish, Spelling/vocabulary, and Shop. His students know that they can depend upon his steadfast testimony as he faithfully serves his Savior each and every day. His son, Michael, is a student at WSCS.

 

Mr. Corey Thomas – Began his teaching ministry for the second grade in the winter of the 2000/01 school year, and is an alumnus of WSCS.  Mr. Thomas has a special gift with young children. He not only is able to have fun with them on their level, but is a well-structured and organized instructor.  His children, Clark and Bruce, are students at WSCS. Mr. Thomas currently has the 9th & 10th grade homeroom, and teaches jr & high school math, jr high phys.ed and home ec. 

 

Mr. Wayne Brooks – Began his ministry at WSCS in September, 1998. Mr. Brooks is the homeroom teacher for 11th and 12th grades. He teaches all the high school History, high school Physical Education,  Science class, Health, landscaping,  and he also coaches boys’ and girls’ soccer. Mr. Brooks successfully mixes his ability to have fun and enjoy his students with well-structured instruction.  Mr. Brooks is also the WSCS bus driver.

 

Dr. Art Gray — Currently teaches the 11th & 12th grade Chemistry class, and supervises a Physics student.

 

Mr. Jeremy Geisler — Currently teaches high school Bible and the Media Ministry class.  He is also an intern for the church.

 

Mr. Thomas Krick– Currently teaches 7th & 8th grade Bible, assisting with high school Math, and teaches some high school electives.  Mr. Krick is a WSCS alumnus. 

 

Mrs. Becky Paulhamus – teaches computer classes, takes care of student records/report cards, coordinates Scrip orders, teaches 4th grade Health, and is a subsitute teacher.  She also assists with the drama department’s dinner theatre.  She is also our go-to person for computer problems. She has two Associate degrees, Executive Secretary and microcomputer Specialist from Penn College.  Her children, Joshua and Rachael, are students at WSCS. 

 

Mrs. Nancy Spearing – Began her ministry at WSCS in the 2000/01 school year. She is our Academic Support Teacher.  She gives special help to students who are experiencing learning difficulties. Mrs. Spearing has extensive experience working with special needs and special education students as well as with elementary age children. She applies her broad range of experience to help each of her students improve scholastically. Mrs. Spearing has added an exciting dimension to the WSCS academic program.

 

Mrs. Jessica Dick- Currently teaches elementary art.  She previously taught 1st grade for WSCS. 

 

Mrs. Kimberly Holter – Currently teaches 7th & 8th grade art.  Her daughter, Gracey, is a student at WSCS.

 

Mrs. Jenny Howell — Teaches high school drama and is the director of the drama department’s Dinner Theatre.

 

 Mrs. Leverda Hilling – Mrs. Hilling has faithfully given many hours serving as a volunteer since the school’s inception. She has taught music since 1977 and taught Kindergarten from 1979-1991. Her husband, Bill, serves on the Board of Deacons, so he is also very involved in the school ministry. She is also a consistent worker in our school’s thrift store!

 

Miss Joanna Waite – “Jo-Jo” is our pianist and assists and plays for programs and music class. She is a retired high school teacher and is such a blessing to us.
