It is the parent’s responsibility to transport their children or to set up arrangements to ride a public school bus to WSCS. If you wish for your child to ride the public school bus to WSCS, you will need to contact the transportation department of the school district you live in.
Do WSCS graduates get accepted to colleges?
90% of our graduates go on to college or trade schools. Some have received scholarships to both secular and Christian colleges. Some have joined the military while others enter the work force.
Are foreign languages taught at WSCS?
We offer French and Spanish to our high school students.
What are the testing results for WSCS students?
Our students test an average of two grades above grade level and test 200 points above the national average on Stanford Achievement Tests. Our students also win state academic awards as well.
Are your teachers certified?
All of our teachers have college educations and our hiring criteria is very stringent. A teacher hired by WSCS not only must have the necessary background checks and a “gift of teaching” but must meet all of the spiritual qualifications. Their Christian testimony must be exemplary. Our teachers view their mission to children as their calling in life. They not only minister to their students academically, but spiritually as well.
Does WSCS offer other classes?
We offer many elective classes in the high school. Examples are: foreign languages, drama, shop, landscaping, debate, puppet ministry, media ministry, electrical, art/pottery, speech, scrapbooking, floral arrangement, catering, and many more.
